One of Michelle’s greatest passions is working with people. Michelle grew up on a small farm in northern Colorado. Her family had several black angus mamas and raised calves along with several other farm animals. She spent most of her time on a horse, riding through the fields and over any trail she could discover.
After graduating with degrees in Management and Accounting from the University of Colorado, Michelle worked for 20 years building a successful family mortgage company alongside her father. Although her best strengths were in the finance and management systems, she worked in every role of the business, from reception to VP. For the last 15 years, she’s continued to use her exponential experience and abilities to go on to build other successful real estate firms. Always working towards the goal of helping everyone achieve the best possible outcome, she focuses on helping agents be the best that they can be, and ultimately help sellers sell and buyers buy incredible properties.
Michelle continues to live in northern Colorado, on a couple of acres just outside of Fort Collins, with her husband, Scott; they have 5 children, (4 daughters and 1 son, ages 13 to 29), a sweet lab named Bella, and 3 happy goats. Michelle is licensed in Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska, however, when she’s not working, her favorite time is spent at home caring for her family. Kid sports, school and church activities, landscaping, riding horses and drawing, are just a few of her preferred past times.
Michelle is known for her generosity and hard working ability to go over and above what it takes to get the job done. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and genuine compassion are just a few characteristics that people use to describe Michelle, and put her in an elite class of real estate professionals.
